Our Mission



Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity.

About Us



Operation Smile Colombia treated hundreds of children during its 25 local missions in ten cities throughout the country, nine of which were craniofacial and microsurgery missions. The foundation conducted more than 9,000 consultations this year at its integral care centers in Duitama, Boyacá, and Bogotá. Interdisciplinary treatment at the integral care centers includes: plastic surgery, anesthesia, pediatrics, nursing, nutrition, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, genetics, ENT, speech therapy, social work, and psychology. The center in Bogotá has been so successful since its opening in 2002, that the Foundation has built a larger clinic to accommodate the increasing number of patients and programs.
